This week’s blog post is going to be a short news roundup. We’ll focus on two new services Y-Not Tech Services has begun offering. Let’s get right to them.
Malware Removal and Tune Up
In the past, we have offered this as two separate services – Virus Removal or Tune Up. We’ve combined them because almost every computer we have performed a Tune-Up on has shown signs of Malware infection as well, and every single Virus Removal we performed could benefit from a Tune Up. This usually meant calling our client up and selling them the missing service at an additional cost to them, and slowing down the repair process while we waited to get a hold of the client to authorize further repairs.
What often happens when we call to offer the additional service is that the client will decline that service. This means they end up getting a machine back that is either still infected with Malware/Viruses or has some performance issues that could be cleaned up with Tune-Up. The cost of the two old services was $178. We’re combining those services together at $149 to offer more value to our clients and ensure that their computers can perform like new!
Web Design
We are very excited to announce that Y-Not Tech Services now offers Web Design, complete with Domain Name management and Hosting! This gives our clients a full solution for a website that gives them an online presence. We’ve found that a lot of our small business clients are overlooking websites in favor of just a social media page like a Facebook Business page. While Social Media is important our research shows that these pages don’t appear on Search Engines like Google as high as a proper website does.
Our web design and hosting will start at $250 for initial design and set up with ongoing monthly fees for hosting and domain name management. We’ll need to have some discussion with our clients to determine what their website needs are and find the perfect solution to fill those needs.
