Here’s how a typical visit or remote session goes:
- We start with a short conversation about what’s happening, which devices are affected, and how long it’s been going on.
- I check your modem and router to make sure they’re set up correctly and updated.
- We test speeds and signal strength in different parts of your home.
- I adjust settings, update software, or reposition equipment to improve reliability and coverage.
- If needed, I can speak with your internet provider on your behalf to sort out line or account issues.

Onsite Visits vs. Remote Support
Some internet problems can be fixed without me stepping foot in your home, while others really do need an onsite visit.
- Remote support works well when only one computer is affected, or when we’re dealing with software, browser, or account issues.
- Onsite visits are best when Wi-Fi doesn’t reach certain rooms, multiple devices are having trouble, or the modem/router needs to be moved or rewired.

Better Wi-Fi for Streaming, Video Calls, and Smart Devices
Modern homes often have a lot more devices than they used to: smart TVs, streaming boxes, tablets, phones, laptops, game consoles, speakers, and more.
If your Wi-Fi was set up years ago, it may not be configured for how you use the internet today.
