Problems That Remote Support Can’t Solve
There are a lot of issues that can be fixed using remote support, but sometimes a technician will need to present in person to get the problem resolved. Those situations include the following:
Modem and Router Issues
If you can’t access the internet through your modem or router, we won’t be able to start a remote support session. In these cases, a technician will need to make a visit to determine the problem.
The Computer Won’t Boot or Turn On
We can’t do a remote support session if the computer won’t turn on so again, you’ll need a technician to have a look to find out why the computer won’t turn on.
Physical Hardware Problems
When something needs to be replaced a Remote Session won’t help at all. As good as remote support is, it just won’t turn screws and replace faulty hardware – yet! Remote Support can be useful in determining what needs to be replaced, but when it’s time to do that work, a technician will need to be on hand.
